Dr Alan Currie
Alan is a Consultant Psychiatrist working for the NHS in Newcastle who specialises in disordered eating and is author of the UK Sport guidelines ‘Eating Disorders in Sport’.

Nick Gillingham MBE
Double Olympic medallist, World, European and Commonwealth swimming champion, he also set three world records in breaststroke. Nick is now Managing Director of Sports Communication Group Ltd and led the development of the world’s first online swimming race and technique analysis system.
Eating Disorders Specialist
Dr Huw Goodwin
Visiting Fellow at the Loughborough University Centre for Research into Eating Disorders (LUCRED), Huw is also Co-ordinator for the National Centre for Eating Disorders in Sport. He is a specialist in the study of eating disorder psychopathology among athletes and sports performers. Huw is also a former member of the GB Handball team.

A GP at Hildenborough Medical Group and Hospital Practitioner in Cardiology at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Paul holds a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He was a Team Doctor at London 2012 for the GB Athletics Team.

Former international rugby union player, Claire is now captain of the GB Sitting Volleyball team including the team that competed at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. She also works as a mentor for young sports performers.
Anna Hemmings MBE
A two time Olympian and six times World Champion canoeist, Anna is now a Performance Coach, speaker and mentor for aspiring young athletes.
Mhairi works with a number of Olympic and Paralympic sports performers through consultancy work and with the English Institute of Sport. Also she is lead Nutritionist for British Gymnastics, the English National Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School.
Tom has been a journalist for 30 years, attending nine Olympic Games covering sport for national newspapers including The Daily Telegraph and magazines, and is now a Director of Sybil Ruscoe Media.
Tony has coached six athletes to Olympic and World Championship medals and was employed as a full-time Sprints Coach by UK Athletics from 2000 to 2012. Tony has also worked with international rugby players and Premiership footballers to improve their speed and agility.

A former England rugby player, Jaine was Captain of the first England side to tour and play against South Africa and is now a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

David is a BASES accredited Sports Physiologist who provides support to British athletes preparing for the forthcoming summer and winter Olympic Games.
Penny has worked in elite sport since 2002 with UK Athletics, British Swimming, British Rowing and the English Institute of Sport including at the 2008 and 2012 Paralympic Games.
A former England international at cross country, Lucy graduated from Birmingham University with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She now provides physiotherapy support for the Birmingham University Athletics Team and at the UK Athletics Major Events Series.
A former GB rower, he was Paralympic bronze medallist in the coxed four at the 2008 Paralympic Games and a multiple medallist at the World Championships. Alastair is now a Teacher in Canterbury.

Tim is a Physiotherapist to national and international rowers, triathletes and equestrian riders. He works as a Lecturer for Applied Sciences at Sunderland University and competes in triathlon, and also coaches the sport.

Noel is a Sports Medicine Doctor for British Athletics, attending a number of major championships, and was sports medicine lead Doctor in the Olympic Stadium at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

John is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine and Medical Officer to British Athletics, working at a number of major championships including the London 2012 Olympic Games.
A former international marathon runner, Alison runs The Coach House Sports Physiotherapy Clinic in Leeds. She has a key member of the support team for Dame Kelly Holmes in Athens 2004 and Jessica Ennis in London 2012. Alison was also lead Physiotherapist for ‘On Camp with Kelly’ from 2004 until 2012.
Sybil has worked in journalism since 1978 primarily on national television and radio including as a Presenter on Channel 4 Cricket, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live. She now runs her own media company Sybil Ruscoe Media, delivering media training to a variety of clients.
Michael is an Associate Lecturer and Tutor for Fairhaven Consultancy and specialises in working with organisations, teams and individuals on effective communication and behavioural change.
Sonya is a Director at Fairhaven Consultancy Ltd and specialises in bringing about behavioural change at an organisational, team or individual level and has designed ‘Coaching Skills for Parents’ workshops.
Sue plays for Leeds United FC and has represented the England Women’s Football Team since the age of 17, amassing over 90 caps.
A middle distance athlete who was educated and mentored through Kelly Holmes Education’s flagship programme ‘On Camp with Kelly’, Stacey has progressed to mentoring young people and assisting with the delivery of workshops.
A PhD researcher at Loughborough University and the EIS, Kate has worked at a number of UKA altitude camps with Olympic and Paralympic athletes. She is currently conducting a study on the effects of tapering.

A member of the GB cycling team for 18 years, Brian won two Olympic medals, plus five World Championship and two Commonwealth Games medals. He now runs the ‘Winning Mindset’ programme, The Bryan Steel Academy for Cycling and has developed the Bryan Steel Mentoring System.
The current Captain of England Women’s Football Team and the Team GB for the 2012 London Olympics, Casey has earned over 100 caps for England. She also works in coaching and mentoring young people.
Louise is a Principal Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Leeds Metropolitan University and has 20 years of experience advising elite sports performers from a range of sports including athletics, tennis, cricket, rugby and football.

A former international athlete who competed at the 1964 Olympics, Gwenda researches and campaigns on gender issues in sport and helped develop specific coaching modules for UK Athletics.
Anna is a BPS Chartered Sport Psychologist who runs her own Performance Psychology Consultancy company, Chrianna Consultants. She works with a wide range of sporting organisations including UK Athletics, the English Institute of Sport and the British Olympic Association.
Former international swimmer, he represented Great Britain for ten years, winning Commonwealth and European gold medals in breaststroke. Adam is now a Mentor and Athlete Programme Manager at the DKH Legacy Trust.
A two times Olympian and training partner for Dame Kelly Holmes prior to Athens 2004, Anthony now works as a registered Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach for Grimsby Town FC. He is the only person to have run a sub 4 minute mile in the over 40 category, and still competes internationally.
Alec is an experienced Sports Broadcaster who has set up his own company to help athletes, coaches and sports administrators achieve better results when dealing with the media.

A former Women’s Premiership footballer, Sarah is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist who holds ITEC diplomas in sports massage, holistic massage and Indian head massage.
Elite Performer - Media Trainer
Cathy has competed in five Ironman Triathlons representing GB at European and World level. She is now a Freelance Sports Writer, Consultant and Mentor for the DKH Legacy Trust.
Rachel is a leading member of the England’s Women’s football team, and an Olympian representing GB at London 2012. An Arsenal Ladies FC Player, she is now England’s most capped footballer, after beating Peter Shilton’s record in June 2013.
